Bangladesh calls for bids with a tender for 10,000 MT of phosphoric acid

The government of Bangladesh has initiated the process to import 10,000 metric tonnes of phosphoric acid, adhering to a single bidding procedure. This import, scheduled to fulfill the country’s demands by early February of the following year, will be managed by the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) under the Ministry of Industries.

The international tender, designated as Pur-3.3160/2023-2024, calls for the delivery of phosphoric acid in bulk via tanker on a Cost and Freight (CFR) basis to the TSP Complex Jetty at Chattogram Port. The closing date for the bid submissions has been set for December 27, 2023, with the stipulation that the shipment occurs within 30 days of the letter of credit issuance. This strategic move aims to bolster the country’s chemical industry supply chain efficiencies.
