The EU Court canceled the extension of the duty on the Russian ammonium nitrate

The European General Court ruled to terminate the anti-dumping duty on Russian ammonium nitrate, a decision which was adopted by the European Commission in December 2020.
Thus, the claim of Novomoskovskiy Azot and Nevinnomyssky Azot, which are part of the EuroChem Group, was satisfied. The lawsuit was filed back in February 2021.
Recall that in December 2020, the European Commission extended for 5 years the duty on the import of Russian ammonium nitrate to 32.71 euros per ton. The largest ammonium nitrate producers in Russia are Acron, UralChem, and EuroChem.
