Kemerovo Azot proceeds with promising project

Kemerovo Azot (part of SDS Azot) has completed the first installation of the equipment in the new non-concentrated nitric acid workshop. The workshop is still under construction. Waste-heat boiler, steam superheater and tail gas heater have been already installed.
The company plans to build two nitric acid workshops under the project of technical re-equipment of the production of nitrogen fertilizers. Implementation of the project will increase the output of ammonia nitrate by 227 thousand tons per year. Investments in the project will exceed 6 billion rubles (approx. $84.75 million).
